Buhari has failed, pray God sends a leader who'll save this country, PDP chair advises Nigerians

Christians all over the country have been enjoined to use this period of Christmas celebration to pray to God to send a leader who will save the country.

National chairman the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus who made the call in his Christmas message to Nigerians, claims this is necessary as the President Muhammadu Buhari government has failed the country.

Secondus also said in the message signed by Ike Abonyi, that the level of disaffection among Nigerians in this All Progressive Congress (APc) led Federal Government of Buhari is unprecedented.

He decried the government’s lack of clue on a way out of plethora of sufferings the country has continued to face since the emergence of Buhari’s administration.

He said, “The fact that Nigerians cannot see fuel to travel home to see their loved ones during this Christmas even after fuel prize jumped from N87 per liter under PDP administration to N145 under APC shows clearly that they have nothing to offer.

“As Christmas is the marking of the coming of the messiah by (sic) Christendom, this is the best time to seek God’s intervention to send a leader who would save this country as APC administration has failed the people woefully.

“This Yuletide time is therefore ripe for Nigerians to bury their political, ethnic and religious differences and go on their knees to ask God to save this country from the hands of APC misrule and clear lack of direction

“This is the third Christmas Nigerians are marking under APC government and the indignation in their faces across board shows it all that the people are sad and disappointed”

Secondus further urged Nigerians to have deep reflection on the future of democracy in Nigeria as they celebrate this year’s Christmas.
