Buhari meets Kwankwaso, others as mass defection looms in APC
President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday night had a meeting with former Kano State governor, Senator Rabiu Kwakwanso behind closed doors.
The meeting which was held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, it was learnt, also had in attendance some senators as well as the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole.
Although details of the meeting were not made public, there are however speculations that it was not unconnected with frantic efforts the presidency and the APC leadership have been making recently to prevent alleged planned mass defection from the party by aggrieved National Assembly members of the APC.
