President Muhammadu Buhari today met with the speakers of the 36 state Houses of Assembly in the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Houses of Assembly and Lagos State Assembly speaker, Mr Mudashiru Obasa, led the speakers to the meeting at about 11.00 a.m.

Also in attendance at the meeting included the House of Representative speaker, Mr Femi Gbajabiamila; Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr Boss Mustapha; and the Chief of Staff to the President, Mr Abba Kyari.
