Severe political alliance with Southwest, CNG tells North

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday met behind closed doors with his newly constituted Economic Advisory Council (EAC) members.

In a post earlier on its official Twitter handle, the Government of Nigeria had announced that the meeting would hold at the State House, Abuja.

President Buhari had in September 2019, constituted the EAC to advise him on economic policy matters, including fiscal analysis, economic growth; and a range of internal and global economic issues.

He had used the new economic team to replace the Economic Management Team (EMT), headed by his vice, Yemi Osinbajo.
