The letter to the Senate President, Abubakar Bukola Saraki, contained the following as the nominees and their geo-political zones.

1. Professor Ummu Ahmed Jalingo – North East
2. Professor Justitia Odinakachukwu Nnabuko – South East
3. Professor Mike I. Obadan – South South
4. Dr. Abdu Abubakar – North West
5. Adeola Adetunji – South West.

Recall that Buhari had also sent a list of nominations for appointment as Resident Electoral Commissioners (REC) for some states to the Senate.

But the Senate insists that it would not sanctions the names unless Buhari sacks Chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Magu whom it had rejected twice.

The board is made of 5 persons and not six. So not that he wanted to marginalize the North central

Will the senate attend to this list? The senate once advise Mr president to stop sending list, why did he forward another on earth when previous list is yet to be attended to?

Because he knows the senators are nonentities who cannot be taken seriously. Buhari only sent the noisy to them to respect the constitution.

Buhari would have approved the names himself if he has the power too, thanks to the constitution!
