Buhari reappoints Amobi as NBET MD

President Muhammadu Buhari Thursday approved the reappointment of Marilyn Amobi as the Managing Director of the Nigeria Bulk Electricity Trading Company (NBET) Plc.

The Special Adviser on Media and Communications to the Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Yunusa Abdullahi, disclosed this in a statement in Abuja.

Members of the reconstituted NBET board are Alexander Okoh, a representative of the Bureau of Public Enterprises, Patience Oniha, Director-General of the Debt Management Office, Ben Akabueze, Director-General of the Budget Office of the Federation and a representative from the Ministry of Power, who should be a staff not below the level of a Director.

Others are – Suleyman Ndanusa, former Director-General of Securities and Exchange Commission, Mustapha Balarabe Shehu, former President of the Nigeria Society of Engineers and Adeyeye O. Adepegba.
