The Wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha, who is currently in London with her ailing husband, has sent good news home over his health condition.

Aisha who spoke through her Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on administration, Dr. Hajo Sani, at the 23rd Annual Ramadan Lecture of Ansar-ud-deen Society of Nigeria (ADS) held in Abuja, said that the president is recovering fast and will soon be back to Nigeria.

While she thanked Nigerians for their prayers so far, she however called on them not to relent in their prayers for President Buhari.

She said, “My husband is recovering very fast. And very soon, he will return to the country to resume his official duties. I thank Nigerians for their prayers for my husband. Please, do not relent in your prayers.”

Shouts of Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar!! Allahu Akbar!!!(God is great) by the Muslim faithful at the event, filled the air at the news of the president’s health situation.

Weeks after his return from an initial medical trip, President Buhari on May 7, returned to the United Kingdom for an indefinite follow-up treatment.

Announcing his departure, his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina had said on his twitter handle, “PMB travels tonight for medical follow-up. Length of stay to be determined by London doctors. Govt to function normally under VP.

President Buhari’s return to the UK came after an initial 49 days medical leave in the same country.

What else do Nigerians expect Aisha to say? Her husband may still be on sick bed, as expected, she will always wish him well.

  She’s lying about her husband’s situation. Buhari is still very sick and not recovering at all. We are not even sure Aisha is with Buhari in London, she may be in London and still not allowed to see him.

Mrs. Aisha Buhari should always make sure she is with Mr President at all time and always cook for him all the time because we heard it was food poisoning that is affecting baba buhari.
