President Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly approved the sack of 35 aides working with Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo.

Daily Nigerian reports that the affected aides are senior special assistants, special assistants, personal assistants, technical assistants, and others whose appointments took effect in August.

They are expected to get their disengagement letters later on Wednesday.

President Buhari is currently on a two-week private visit to London and will return to the country on November 17.
