Buhari’s aide attacks APC presidential candidate for criticizing Buhari

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and presidential aspirant under the party, Dr. SKC Ogbonnia, says he was allegedly attacked, and threatened by one of President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide.

Senior Special Assistant to Buhri on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Mrs. Abike Dabiri, who was said to have made the threat, allegedly told Ogbonnia that his “hatred (for Buhari) will certainly lead” him to a most “tragic disaster.”

Ogbonnia made this claim in a statement he sent to Ripples Nigeria on Thursday.

Dabiri was said to be responding to an earlier statement by Ogbonnia, where the APC chieftain claimed that Buhari’s second term bid is worse than the annulment of June 12 election in 1993, which late Chief MKO Abiola was said to have won.

According to Ogbonnia, Dabiri had replied through an email message that read, “Pls don’t email me again. Your hatred will certainly lead you to a most tragic disaster.

“Politics doesn’t entail such bitter words and you claim to be APC?? What a joke. If you are contesting, go ahead and let your votes speak for you

“If this was another medium, would have blocked you. Anyway, I won’t dignify you by reading any message from you again, whoever you are. Such low life!

“Politics of hatred! And you know you can’t even win a ward election. Nonsense
Shame”
