Buhari's aide, firm don't want to associate with Bobrisky

Organisers of a forthcoming New Media Conference may now be biting their fingers after a second high profile panelist withdrew from the event after self- proclaimed ‘Nigerian Barbie’ Idris Okuneye aka Bobrisky was named as one of the panelists to speak at the conference.

Earlier, the Personal Assistant to President Buhari on New Media, Bashir Ahmaad said he won’t be attending a conference as a panelist after one of his followers on Twitter pointed out that Bobrisky is part of the panel of speakers and his attendance would be-little him.

In the same vein, Alder Consulting, another member of the panel has signaled its withdrawal from the conference when it released a statement on Twitter saying Bobrisky’s inclusion “radicalises what should otherwise be a serious discourse on new approaches to media”.
