Buhari’s one of Nigeria’s ‘wicked’ leaders – Aisha
A co-convener of Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) movement, Aisha Yesufu, has described President Muhammadu Buhari as one of the “wicked people” who kept Nigerians poor.
She was responding to the claim by Buhari that “wicked” past leaders plundered Nigeria and kept the citizens “poor.”
President Buhari was quoted in a statement on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, as making the claim when he spoke while receiving some members of the Buhari Diaspora Support Organisation, led by Charles Sylvester in London.
But reacting on her Twitter handle, Yesufu accused Buhari as one of those “wicked” Nigerians who kept the people poor.

She wrote, “President Muhammadu Buhari @MBuhari is one of those wicked people that kept HIS people poor. Never for once did I hear his voice on issues of education, immunisation, almajiri, girl brides.
“He focused coldly on himself. Hmmm these might not readily give him votes if addressed.”
