BUK lecturer kidnapped in Kaduna

A frontline academic staff of Bayero University, Kano, Saminu Aliyu Kiri has been abducted by hoodlums in Kaduna.

Aliyu Kiri was said to be on his return journey back from an official assignment when yet to be identified gunmen flagged down their vehicle at Birnin Gwari area of Kaduna and subsequently abducted him.

Sources in the second generation varsity told Vanguard that Malam Kiri was a prominent member of Faculty of Computer science and Information Technology of the school.
