Burna Boy set to appear in court after ignoring court summons on 2 occasions

After ignoring court summons on two occassions, Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy will appear in court today December 18 to answer for a case of robbery filed by the Nigerian Police Command.

The detained dancehall singer submitted himself to police last Friday after he went AWOL when he was declared wanted by police for his alleged connection in the robbery attack of his colleague, Mr 2Kay, at Eko Hotel in October.

Meanwhile, Burna Boy is now biting his fingers over his alleged involvement in the robbery attack on Mr 2Kay as he has started to lose money over the case.

The artiste who was forced to postpone his maiden concert over the incident is now mulling the return of advance payment made by show organisers who had earlier booked him to perform at events this December.

Most of the show organisers are said to be in a panic mode as they fear that the case may drag into the new year since it is now in court, and it would thus make the artiste unavailable to honour the show he has been booked for.
