Bus driver in police net for impregnating 14-yr-old step daughter
A commercial bus driver identified as Onyiyechi Edum, 46, is now cooling his heels in police net after he allegedly impregnated his 14-year-old step daughter who calls him ‘Daddy’.
The suspect who is a native of Abua in Abua/Odual Local Government Area of Rivers State reportedly got steeped in sleeping with his step daughter (name withheld) when his wife took ill and was hospitalised for three months.
When making his confessional statement, Edum who is now in the custody of the Police Division in Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt, said he severally had carnal knowledge of his step daughter at his residence in Ibodaya, Rumuolumeni whenever he got drunk.
“The police arrested me because they said I impregnated my step daughter. I don’t really know who impregnated her, but I slept with her only one day.

“She is 14 years old. I slept with her when her mother was in the hospital. Her mother is my wife. The mother was in the hospital for three months and some days.
“It was in December that I slept with her. We went to the hospital on October 6, 2015. I slept with her on December 25. After that, I also slept with her on January 3, 2016.” Edum added.
The suspect said he should be blamed for his actions, adding that too much drinking got him into the mess that he’s in.
“I was driving, but when my wife gave birth and had health challenge, I sold the bus. I am not doing anything for now. I don’t know how this pregnancy came about because it has taken a long time I had sex with her,” he said.
The Divisional Police Officer, Mr. Kingsley Chukwueggu, while commenting on the matter said parents, especially mothers should always monitor their children while also advising them to take protective actions when they suspect their husbands’ behaviour towards their female children.
Continuing, the DPO informed that Edum will soon be charged to court as soon as invstigations into the matter were concluded.

Not just incest taboo but sin against GOD and humanity which deserves capital punishment . The man has inflicted life trauma into the girl because he has succeeded destroying her future. Who will want to marry the girl and abortion is also a sin which means she has to keep the baby. What a vicious world!

Some men penis know no bounds to the extent they can sleep with their mother. What is the world turning into that young girls are fallen victims of sexual harassment by their own families too.

Someone should please help me. I didn’t do a lot of Biology in school. How many days does it take to impregnate a girl? This knowledge is key, please help.

He was just being an idiot to have said that. He slept with his stepdaughter once but, he later gave two dates, don’t you think the man is abnormal? He should be taken to the psychiatric hospital to be sure of his abnormality.

The man is just so irresponsible. No responsible man will think of having sex with anyone calling him daddy or any underage girl. He’d definitely suffer his head in prison.
