Bus runs Israeli man over after skirmish with Palestinians

There seems to be no end to the spiraling violence in the middle east as an Isreali man was ran over and killed in West Bank after confrontation with Palestinians.
According to one witness, the victim had exited his car after stones were thrown at it, and had begun hitting passing Palestinian cars with a large stick.
Details of the incident were unclear, including why the man stopped and got out, and whether any stones had actually struck his car.
An Associated Press photographer who witnessed the incident said the Israeli man had exited his car after Palestinian demonstrators threw stones at it, and had begun to hit passing Palestinian cars with a large stick.
The man hit a passing truck with the stick, and the truck ran the man over, the witness reported.
The driver of the vehicle that hit him was believed to have left the scene, but local media said he turned himself into Palestinian police later and said the crash was an accident.

The incident near the Al Fawwar refugee camp outside flashpoint city Hebron came amid nearly three weeks of unrest that have raised fears of a full-scale Palestinian uprising.
Some 43 Palestinians and one Arab Israeli have been killed in the upsurge of violence that began at the start of the month, including alleged attackers. Eight Israelis have died in attacks.
Violent protests have erupted in the occupied West Bank, annexed east Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip. Young Palestinians throwing rocks and firebombs have faced off against Israeli security forces, who have responded with tear gas, rubber bullets and live fire.
Israeli settlers in the West Bank have also clashed with Palestinians.
