It's official! Toke's 3-yr marriage to Maje dissolved by Lagos court

Celebrity fitness trainer Maje Ayida has revealed in an interview with Thelca Wilkie that his business was seriously affected following his split with his erstwhile wife, Toke Makinwa and the resultant media attention their separation attracted.

“I had a very dramatic year last year. I am kind of slowly trying to climb out of that hole. How did I deal with it? I focused on my work. I put my work forward and allowed that speak for me. A couple of the big brands I work with got a bit spooked. Business wasn’t actually kicking,” Maje said.

Continuing, the father of one said who said people were vicious and judgmental towards him without knowing what was really going on noted that he still admires Toke a great deal.

“We met at a boat club in Lagos. She is a great person. She is going to keep flying and she is going to soar because that is how great she is. You guys haven’t seen anything yet about how special this girl is”.

Confirming his baby with Anita Solomon, his girlfriend, who he got pregnant while still married to Toke; Maje reveals that he is still trying to fit into his role as a father.

“I am still learning. It is a whole new world. It is a whole lot of self-discovery to come so I just take each day as it comes. Its life. Like is evolving… Life is crazy. You just got to hold on, strap up and move on”
