CAF to keep AFCON’s January date amid objections from Europe

Nigeria’s representatives, Enugu Rangers have been drawn in Group B of the CAF Confederation Cup alongside Salitas, CS Sfaxien and ES Sahel.

While Salitas FC is a Burkina Faso league side, both Sfaxien and Sahel are topflight clubs in Tunisia.

Rangers defeated Lesotho champions Bantu FC home and away in the playoff to reach this stage.

The Enugu side will kick off their campaign against Salitas early next month, before facing Etoile du Sahel and CS Sfaxien, who have both won the competition four times respectively.
