Cameroon beat Brazil but crash out of World Cup

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon defeated Brazil 1-0 in their final group game of the 2022 FIFA World Cup holding in Qatar.

Despite the win, the Lions still saw their World Cup campaign ended after an entertaining encounter at Lusail Stadium.

Vincent Aboubakar scored the winner in stoppage time but his joy immediately turned to disappointment as he was given a second yellow card for taking his shirt off.

In the other game of group G, Switzerland sealed their place in the last 16 following an entertaining five-goal victory over Serbia.

Brazil finished top of the group despite the loss to Cameroon, and now meet South Korea in the knockout phase.

South Korea snatched a dramatic late win against Portugal as they edged out Uruguay, who beat Ghana, on goals scored.
