The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon have warned the Super Eagles of what to expect when both teams clashed on Sunday in an international friendly in Belgium.

The Cameroonians are ready to compound the woes of the Super Eagles who suffered a 2-0 loss to Congo on Thursday as they secured a 3-1 victory over Belgium top flight side KV Oostende in midweek.

Nigerian forward Joseph Akpala scored the opening goal for the Belgium club two minutes into the clash, but then the Indomitable Lions, captained by Turkish-based midfielder Stephane Mbia retaliated in emphatic mode.

Aurelien Chedjou equalised off a Mbia assist, before further goals from Porto striker Vincent Aboubakar and Clinton Njie sealed the result in Brussels.

Mbia, a former Marseille, Sevilla and QPR midfielder is expected to feature prominently for the four time African champions against the Super Eagles and during the 2018 World Cup qualification assignments come November.

Cameroon coach Thomas Finke had earlier warned the Eagles to expect a tough match stating that his players must “prepare for a fight because there is nothing friendly about this match”.
