A devoted Catholic member and taxi driver identified as Kachi sent scores into pandemonium and mourning when he reportedly committed suicide in the premises of the church hall at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, located at Creek road in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

According to Magnus, a youth leader in the church, the deceased who hailed from Imo State was well liked because he is a mass servant dedicated to the works of God.

Reports say the deceased may have taken his life probably because the owner of the taxi he was operating to make bread and butter retrieved his vehicle.

According to Nkechi Ndu, a member of the church, efforts have been made to contact the parents of the the 20 something year-old boy who had taken refuge in the church.

I’m sure the pope of the church knows the deceased had nowhere to stay than the church, why didn’t he help him before he gave up on himself?

The pope will only know if he was aware of what the guy was going through, the pope cannot be given any fault in this suicide case.

That’s a great abomination, what were the people in the church looking at when he committed suicide. Churches need to be very careful and watchful of who they allow to sleep in the church.
