Celine Dion’s double tragedy: First husband, now brother
Celine Dion has lost her brother to cancer 72 hours after her husband died of same ailment.
This is certainly not the best of times for Canadian singer Celine Dion who has lost her older brother, Daniel to cancer barely 72 hours after her husband died of the same ailment.

Daniel aged 59 died in a palliative care residence outside of Montreal just two days after Celine’s husband of more than 20 years, René Angélil, passed away after a lengthy battle with the disease. He was 73 years old.
A press release from Celine’s publicist which confirmed the sad news stated that Daniel Dion was “a gentle and reserved man of many talents.”
