Chadian President raises the alarm as communal clash claims 37 lives

Chadian President, Idriss Deby has lamented what he termed the deadliest attack meted out to the country’s soldiers by Boko Haram terrorist.

The terrorist had in an attack, between Sunday night to Monday morning, this week killed no less than 92 Chadian soldiers.

The attack happened in a village of Boma in the Lac province near the border with Nigeria and Niger.

President Deby, who on the state television late Tuesday after visiting the site of the attack said, “Never in our history have we lost so many men at one time.”

Boko Haram terrorist has remained a nightmare to Nigeria and its neighbours.

The terrorist group had also on Monday killed over 50 Nigerian soldiers in a separate attack in Yobe State.
