Ahead of the second leg of their semifinal clash against Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday night, Barcelona striker Luis Suarez says he will not celebrate if he scores.

The Uruguayan, who was formerly at the Premier League club, celebrated when he opened the scoring in the first leg at Camp Nou, where Barca walloped their visitors 3-0.

“I will not celebrate if I score at Anfield,” Suarez told reporters, as cited by Spanish outlet, El Mundo Deportivo.

“I did not celebrate when I scored for Ajax at Groningen and it is the same on this occasion, returning here is very special and I am very grateful to Liverpool for what they did with me.

“Whenever Liverpool play at this stadium, they have an extra player on the pitch – we need to pay attention closely to this.

“We must be very attentive to all the details in this game, we know they will press us so we must not make silly mistakes or lose the ball in dangerous places.

“The first leg result was deceitful and we must play calmly because at Roma last season our approach was not right, we cannot repeat this and we must learn from our mistakes.”

Liverpool will need to score four unreplied goals against Barcelona to reach the final of the Champions League.
