NBA TO EFCC: You have no right to question our president

Prof Chuka Obiozor is now the new judge to take over from Justice Muslim Hassan of a Federal High Court in Lagos in the N1.4billion alleged fraud case against the President of the Nigerians Bar Association (NBA) Paul Usoro.

This development on Tuesday stalled the prosecution of the NBA boss by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on 10 counts bordering on fraud.

The case, adjourned to today, was discovered to have been missing among the cases to be heard before the court.

Further findings revealed that the case had been transferred to Justice Obiozor by the Chief Judge, after an application was made to that effect.

Meanwhile, Justice Obiozor could not also hear the matter as he was said to have been away for a workshop.
