Former President of the Performing Musicians’ Association of Nigeria (PMAN) Charles Oputa, aka Charly Boy, has disclosed that he perceives a lack of support from certain Yoruba people for lawyer and activist Dele Farotimi in his fight for freedom and justice.

Charly Boy disclosed the information in an Instagram post and said that while Nigeria celebrates Dele Farotimi, some Yorubas were mostly against his fight for justice.

According to him, the stance of the Yorubas is a new position of a once ethical value-oriented people who are now “tribe-captured” by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
