Chelsea force Man Utd to draw as Spurs seal comeback win vs Villa

Chelsea scored a quick equaliser to successfully hold Manchester United to a 1-1 draw in a Premier League encounter at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Moises Caicedo’s crisp 74th-minute volley gave Chelsea the deserved point against the Red Devils, who had opened scoring on 70 minutes through a Bruno Fernandes penalty.

United were led by interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy while the Red Devils await the arrival of newly-appointed Ruben Amorim, who would arrive Old Trafford on Nov 11.

Dominic Solanke scored twice to help Tottenham come from behind to earn a 4-1 victory over Aston Villa in London.

Morgan Rogers had given Villa the lead with the game’s first shot on target after 32 minutes before the hosts ran riot.

Within four minutes of the restart, Brennan Johnson equalised for Spurs, Solanke netted his brace and James Maddison finished off the work in added time.

Victory ensured Tottenham reduced the gap to the top four following last week’s loss at Crystal Palace, with fourth-placed Arsenal two points ahead.

With the defeat, fifth-placed Villa missed the chance to go third.
