Chelsea winger Hudson-Odoi suffers ruptured Achilles, to miss rest of the season

Chelsea’s promising winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has confirmed that he cupped a ruptured Achilles injury during the 2-2 draw with Burnley FC in an EPL clash on Monday.

Hudson-Odoi who once sought an escape route to German side Bayern Munich over a lack of playing time also revealed that the injury will make him miss the rest of the season.

“Really gutted to end my season with a ruptured Achilles, gotta work hard and come back stronger for next season!!!” Hudson Odoi tweeted.

The injury picked up by Hudson-Odoi was confirmed by Chelsea assistant coach Gianfranco Zola when he was asked by the media.

He said; “It looks a serious thing. Before I can tell you how serious, we have to wait till tomorrow. But it’s not looking good. It is a problem with his Achilles tendon.
