Duncan Mighty claims he had peace meeting with Niger Delta Avengers

Popular socialite, Cubana Chief Priest who runs Cubana night club has raised an alarm on Snapchat claiming that Port Harcourt based singer, Duncan Mighty has been beaten up, and kidnapped by unknown gunmen.

The nightlife businessman in the post on his Snapchat page stated that the incident occurred in Owerri, Imo State, claiming further that several gunshots were allegedly fired during the attack.

He wrote; “Duncan Mighty beaten n picked up by unknown gunmen in Owerri after numerous gunshots. Pray for Duncan Mighty”.

The alleged kidnap of Duncan Mighty comes months after the singer penned an open letter claiming that he is being threatened because of money paid to him by the former Imo State governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha to record a song with one of his boys.

In the open letter shared on Instagram, the singer revealed that he has been invited by the police over the song produced for Okorocha.

Duncan Mighty in the open letter also stated that he is willing to return the money to the politician to secure his life and “avoid further embarrassment to his person.”

The open letter by the musician reads in full; “Dear Rochas Okorocha, I am writing to tell you that my life is being threatened because of the money you paid to me to record a song with one of your boys.

“After I recorded the song prior to doing a video, I have been invited by the police and several threats have been issued to my life. Please, I want to return the money to you to avoid further embarrassment to my person,” Duncan Mighty added.
