Chukwueze ‘excited’ after signing up with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports

Super Eagles and Villarreal forward, Samuel Chukwueze has expressed his excitement after signing up with Roc Nation Sports.

The 20-year old’s career will now by managed by the sports management firm, which is owned by American music star, Jay-Z.

Chukwueze, who had a breakthrough season last season and featured for the Nigeria national men’s team at the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, took to Twitter after the signing to say:

“Excited to announce that with @10manage, we are joining the @rocnationsports family! Big things coming?? #RocFam.”

Roc Nation Sports was founded by Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter in 2013 in partnership with Creative Artists Agency, a prominent talent agency based in Los Angeles.

“A ground-breaking new partner along with one of Africa’s brightest young football stars. We’re thrilled to welcome #10Manage & @chukwueze_8 to the ⚽️ family! #RocFam,” Roc Nation Sport tweeted on its official Twitter handle on Thursday.

The Nigerian youngster had five goals in 26 LaLiga appearances for the Yellow Submarines, and scored once for Nigeria in Egypt to help the team win the bronze medal.
