After confirming his gay status, cops nab Bobrisky, may be transferred to Abuja

Cross-dresser and Snapchat sensation Idris Okuneye popularly known as Bobrisky landed himself in hot soup hours after he openly declared his gay status as he was arrested on Tuesday evening by men of the Nigerian police at Lekki, Lagos.

Though, the reason for his arrest is still not clear, sources say his detention might not be unconnected to his social media rant where he came out as ‘GAY’, a criminal offence which carries a 14-year jail term in Lagos State.

Bobrisky came out as gay when he posted thus on Snapchat; “All this house boys and girls coming to drop comment on page are you all stupid? Do you think your hate comments can change me? Why are you trying so hard to get my attention?

“If all your insult bothered me, I should have stopped posting here. Yes am gay, I will go to hell fire.. Thanks. Please what else? Am tired of that same words. I wanna hear something new. Cheers.”

Reports also suggests that his arrest may also be linked to a social media war he had with entrepreneur, Toyin Lawani where he (Bobrisky) via his Snapchat, called her a riff-raff.

However, Toyin Lawani’s personal assistant has denied that her boss has a hand in the arrest of Bobrisky who according to insiders may likely be transferred to Abuja, on Wednesday.
