Confusion as govt demolishes Dokpesi’s AIT

There was palpable panic and confusion among staff of DAAR Communications when officials of the Federal Capital Territory Development Authority (FCDA) demolished a structure within their Abuja office premises on Tuesday.

Reports say officials of the FCDA arrived the office premises of DAAR Communications, owners of African Independent Television (AIT) and RayPower FM, at about 11am before demolishing some structures within the premises.

As at the time of filing in this report it was not clear why the FCDA pulled down the building housing security staff of the organisation as the action has caused panic among workers and residents of the area.
