Confusion trails Imo APC delegates election

The just-concluded All Progressives Congress, APC, delegate election in Imo State, has continued to generate uncertainties just as some said it was free and fair.

Vanguard Investigation, yesterday in Owerri, confirmed that one of the troubled areas was Isiala Mbano local government area in the state.

According to a source, “The trouble in Isiala Mbano local government is that we have two chairmen, Mr. Obinna Onuegbu, who is loyal to Governor Rochas Okorocha and Julius Asagwara, who is loyal to Senator Ifeanyi Ararume.”
The APC chairman, Owerri West Local Government Area, Mr. Charles Obieze Amadi told Vanguard that the delegate election in the area was free and fair with three persons declared winners.
