Romelu Lukaku

It is good news for Antonio Conte as his number one target, Romelu Lukaku is on his way to Inter Milan after Manchester United have agreed to let him go.

The Inter boss had always wanted Lukaku in his team even while he was manager at Chelsea.

“I consider him a player who could improve our team,” the Italian gaffer was quoted to have said.

Inter have now reached an agreement with Manchester United to sign the Belgoum striker for a fee that could rise to £74m

In July, United rejected Inter’s £54m bid for Lukaku, who was fined by the club after missing training on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old has trained at his former team Anderlecht for the past two days.

Inter and fellow Serie A side Juventus have been competing to sign Lukaku, who did not play in pre-season because of an ankle injury.

Meanwhile, United have an interest in Juventus and Croatia forward Mario Mandzukic who could reinforce their forward options.
