Nigeria beach soccer team will battle the soccer team of Switzerland, led by Dejan Stankovic, 2016’s top soccer scorer in the world, with 63 goals in 28 matches at the 2016 edition of the Copa Lagos beach tournament.

The one-day tournament billed for December 11 at the Eko Atlantic City will feature a combination of sport, music, dance, fashion and celebrity entertainment.

Other marches scheduled for the day are the Club Challenge between Enyimba FC and the Pepsi Football Academy, a Celebrity Match between Super Eagles Ex Internationals and popular Nigerian celebrities.

The managing director of Kinetic Sports, the organisers of the competition, Samson Adamu, said nothing would be left out despite the event going to be a day.

Other events scheduled as prelude for competition includes a CSR event, tagged “Clean the Beach”, a Beach Soccer Kids Clinic – a training and mentorship programme for kids in Lagos State, a Grand Reception, Media Tour, After Party, Fashion Show, Flash Mob, Ride With Me, After Party and a Concert.
