The raging war over copyright infringement between former band members Blackface and 2face is about to assume another explosive dimension after the former threatened to end the career of the latter in the year 2019.

Blackface delivered his threat after posting a cryptic message on his Twitter handle @blackfacenaija saying the career of 2face will end this year after they both must have had their day in court.

Blackface wrote; “Can the WAR officially begin @official2baba? I say it has now officially. Even though you been taking secret shots but you can come out in the open now You know your career is going to end when this is finally over #youareoverwith2019′.

Recall that the pair had been at loggerheads in the last three years over two songs titled ‘Let Somebody Love You’ and ‘African Queen’ which Blackface claimed 2face stole from him and also refused to give him credit for his works.

The allegations forced 2face and his manager, Efe Omoroge to slam Blackface with a N50 million lawsuit for defamation of character last year as the matter is still in court.
