The Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON) has filed a One Billion Naira suit against the Director-General of the Nigerian Copyright Commission (NCC), Afam Ezekude.

The suit by COSON approved by its Chairman, Tony Okoroji and other senior staff of COSON was filed by James Ononiwu, a lawyer, with the collecting society.

In the suit, Ezekude was alleged to have made several patently false, baseless and malicious statements clearly intended to demean Okoroji and staff of COSON.
