Court remands Father for allegedly strangling 11-month-old baby to death

An Ile-Ife Magistrates’ Court in Osun State on Wednesday, ordered that a 40-year-old man, Abiodun Fatunmise, accused of killing his 11-month-old baby, be remanded in prison.

The police prosecutor, Adebayo Joseph told the court that the defendant committed the offence on May 6, 2019, 8:30 a.m., at Igboya area, Ile-Ife.

He added that the defendant conspired with others, who are currently on the run to commit the offence.

The presiding jugde, Justice Olukunle Owolawi who rejected the plea of the defendant, ordered the case to be adjourned until June 13, for mention.
