ZAMFARA: Supreme Court has saved Nigeria from constitutional crisis - PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has further announced suspension of all activities over coronavirus pandemic.

The party announced this on Monday night.

Earlier same day, the party had announced a partial shutdown of its secretariats and offices across the country over the dreaded virus.

In a statement by Kola Ologbondiyan, its spokesman, the party said it was suspending “all activities bordering on congresses, rallies and other large gathering of members of our party across the federation, with effect from Tuesday, March 24, 2020.”

The party said the decision became imperative “in respect to the need for continuous social distancing and other health safety measures against the spread of COVID-19 in our country.”
