Founder of the Resurrection Praise Ministry Worldwide, Archbishop Samson Benjamin has sent our a note of warning to world leaders over the deadly coronavirus disease plaguing the globe.

The cleric in a statement on Friday, said the covid-19 has a spiritual angle to it, hence the need to look up to God at this point in time to seek a solution to the scourge.

According to him, money and power have failed men, and one disease has brought the world to its knees.

He said “Whatever a man sows that he will reap. World leaders, you are playing politics with the lives of innocent and unsuspecting citizens of the world because you are privileged to be given the responsibility to serve God through serving the people, and now you are arrogating so much power to yourself thinking you can control God’s nature. You lie and you have failed”.

Benjamin called on the people to adhere to directives given out by the government in efforts to bring the disease under control, but added, that there is also a need to look at the spiritual aspect of the pandemic, that has claimed so many lives around the world.

He lamented, that China and their cohorts know the game they are up to, but God will not allow them succeed. I have been waiting on the Lord without food cooked by fire or any plesant food at that. At this point, I have to speak out on the happenings in the world. Corona Virus is a well planned arrangement to keep the entire world under the control of some so called super powers and emerging ones, but God who is all knowing discomfited them and brought their craft to nought”.

The cleric who had earlier warned that a virus more deadly than the covid-19 would soon hit the world, however gave a message of hope, as he said “God’s revelation is for redemption”, and that “if we turn to God, drop our sins, and pray hard, it can be avoided”.

In seeking spiritual solution to ending the covid-19 scourge, Benjamin said he is ready and willing to voluntarily work with the World Health Organisation (WHO), to fight the pandemic, that while the world health body seeks scientific and physical means to the problem, he would work spiritually to ensure success, and the survival of mankind.

He also lamented that Nigeria is a target of some forces, and well orchestrated programmes to “hijack the country, and perpetually enslave us”, and called on the Nigerian government to tread with caution.

The cleric who said he has been waiting on God for several months, stated that, “God God is Angry and wants to teach the world the greatest lessons of life.

He is not a man and cannot be deceived. We have moved him to anger and he will strike. Man has rejected God’s warnings, but chose to walk in their wisdom”.

The Archbishop also called on President Muhammadu Buhari, to also seek spiritual counseling from men of God even as government does everything physical to fight the disease before things get out of hand.
