COVID-19: Sanwo-Olu, family, aides test negative
The governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has tested negative to the novel coronavirus disease.
The governor announced this in a tweet on his verified Twitter handle-@jidesanwoolu on Friday.
The governor said he undertook the test along with his family members and aides, and the results all came back negative.
The tweet read, “As a responsible leader, it was important that I get tested for #COVID19 to ensure nothing distracts me from my role of leading Lagos during this period. I am happy to announce that my result has returned NEGATIVE. My family and aides are negative as well.”

Lagos has remained the worst hit state with confirmed cases of COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria.
However, the state is yet to record any death as a result of the disease.
