Customs: Ali approves redeployment of 337 assistant comptrollers

Comptroller-General of Customs (CGC), Hameed Ali, has approved immediate redeployment of 337 Assistant Comptrollers of Customs to various Commands across the country.

The redeployment according to the Customs boss is part of the ongoing repositioning of the service.

Officers affected are Babadidi B, moved from FOU D to Apapa; Udenze A., from ICT to TCIP; Ilesanmi K.D., from Apapa to Kad/Kt; and Ugorji, O.A. from ICT to PH II, among others.

The exercise saw Joseph Attah confirmed as the substantive Public Relations Officer of the Service.

Customs CGC called on the affected officers to ensure they support the leadership of their new commands in the new efforts to engrain a more transparent culture of service delivery.

“So much is expected from NCS in terms of economic and security wellbeing of the country, we cannot afford to fail the nation,” Ali said
