Again, Customs seizes 1,100 Pump Action rifles concealed in container

The Nigerian Customs Service has again uncovered 1,100 Pump Action rifles concealed in a 20 foot container smuggled into the country.

The operatives of Tin-Can Island Command, Lagos, who made the discovery, claimed that the weapons may have been brought in from Turkey. It explained that they were concealed inside a container which Bill of Laden indicated was conveying wash hand basins.

Controller General of Customs, Col. Ahmeed Alli, who made this disclosure when he briefed newsmen on the development on Monday, said that a Customs officer who allegedly cut the seal of the container without following due process and a clerk at the command had already been arrested in connection with the discovery.

Youre a clown! You definitely misread that part of the story. Bin Laden isn’t on nigeria’s soil.

Customs have been seizing ammunition without telling Nigerians how they used these ammunition. Were those behind them captured? We don’t know.

NIgerians not inquisitive enough, we celebrate reports without seeking justice. If there have been proper follow up, the customs will make adequate update available, just like the army on Boko Haram

The customs only know how to intercept arms, but don’t know how to bring the owners to justice. What Nigeria is turning into is scary
