Daddy Freeze, Eldee come for Pastor Adeboye over tweet on enemies of progress

Controversial radio personality Daddy Freeze and rapper Eldee Da Don have both reacted to a tweet credited to Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) on enemies of progress.

“Any relative or anyone blocking your way, if they don repent, they won’t see the new year,” the tweet on the RCCG official handle read.

Though many defended the tweet, Daddy Freeze and Eldee called out the Pastor Adeboye saying “we are in the age of grace and not curse.”

“We are gradually departing from the ear of “grace” and returning to the era of curses!” Freeze wrote in reply to Pastor Adeboye’s message.

“You go fear prayer… I’ll save my amen for something better,” Eldee tweeted.

Daddy Freeze had earlier called out Pastor Adeboye over a recent televised sermon on “tithe & offering” when the clergyman said “the only reason we take offering at all is because, that’s the only way to get you out of poverty”.

Reacting to Pastor Adeboye’s sermon, Daddy Freeze took to social media to talk down such teachings when he said; “This is the kind of false preaching that probably plunged us into poverty in the first place! ~FRZ”

The radio personality who is the leader of ‘Free the sheeple’ movement in Nigeria commented further saying; “Paying tithe and giving offering to these guys WONT GET YOUR DUMB ASSES OUT OF POVERTY, there is a huge possibility that it’s what got you there in the first place! ~FRZ”
