Daddy Showkey diverts into politics, gunning for elective post

‘Ghetto Soldier’ Daddy Showkey has raised an alarm saying some persons are planning to take his life.

He said this was after he launched a campaign against the illegal parking of tankers and trailers in his neighbourhood.

The dancehall act took to Instagram to inform those who cared to listen that his life is in danger over his recent outbursts on tankers and trailers parking on major roads in Lagos.

“Information reaching me is that they are planning to kill me I dey I look una, The Tankers and Trailers Parking around our neighbourhood should leave now. We are crying out now,” he said.

Recall that Daddy Showkey and his former band mate Daddy Fresh both launched a campaign against the indiscriminate parking of tankers and trailers on major streets in the state after the recent tragic incident which happened along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The incident involved a petrol tanker which skidded off a bridge opposite Otedola Jubilee Estate following an accident which reportedly claimed nine lives, burnt five buses, two trucks, one tricycle, and 45 cars.
