Low returns forces Dangote to sell noodles arm to Dufil Prima

Nigerian billionaire industrialist, Aliko Dangote remained at the top of Africa’s richest in the latest ranking published by Forbes Magazine.
Dangote, who is among the richest in the world, ranked number one with $16.7 billion while his closest rival, who ranked 2nd in Africa, Nick Openmehier, with $6.6 billion, came a distant second.
Another Nigerian, Mike Adenuga, the owner of Globacom and Conoil, came seventh with $3.5 billion.

Dangote, who this week resigned from Dangote Flour Mills, after South African investors pulled out from funding of the company, is the President of Dangote Group, a group of companies that is heavily into cement manufacturing and commodities in different countries in Africa.
His profile has consistently risen over the last few years and he was recently listed by Forbes as one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
