Dasukigate: Abuja Disco clears air on N125m

The Management of the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC), Wednesday, said the alleged N125 million received from the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) was part payment for the electricity supply to the Presidency.

In a two paragraph statement, the firm said: “Our attention has been drawn to a report in the print and on electronic media of Monday, 14th December, 2015, to the effect that Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) received the sum of N125,503,255.11 from the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA).

“AEDC wishes to use this medium to clarify that the said sum was paid by the ONSA as part payment for electricity consumed by the Presidency.”
