Again, Davido tests negative for coronavirus

The second album of Afro Pop singer titled “A Good Time” (his first on Columbia UK records) has emerged as the most streamed African album ever after amassing over 1 billion streams.

This was confirmed late on Tuesday on the official Instagram page of Columbia Records UK, and comes barely a year after the release of the album with fans going wild with excitement over the development.

Columbia Records UK via its official Twitter account wrote: “HUGE congrats to @davido – ‘A Good Time’ has officially reached OVER 1 BILLION streams! ”

The album which was released in November 22, 2019, through Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), RCA Records and Sony Music features guest appearances from Chris Brown, Summer Walker, Gunna, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Dremo, Peruzzi, Popcaan, Zlatan, Yonda, Wurld and Naira Marley.

This came after his fiancee Chioma dismissed reports of domestic violence in her home.

Reports had said the woman moved out of the artiste’s house recently over alleged brutality.

But Chioma has dismissed the report, saying there had never been any form of physical or verbal abuse in her home.
