DEFAMATION CASE: Kemi Olunloyo speaks from PH prison, says she’s still in high spirits

Controversial media personality, Kemi Olunloyo has finally spoken from her base at Port Harcourt maximum prison where she is awaiting trial over a case of defamation brought against her by Pastor David Ibiyeomie, the founder of Salvation Ministries.

The daughter of a former Oyo State governor, Victor Omololu Olunloyo, who has continued to languish behind prison bars took to her Instagram page to wish her followers and fans happy holidays.

“I’m still being held in Port Harcourt max prison. I am in high spirits very soon Nigeria will return to democracy -Madam KOO,” she wrote.

Kemi was re-arrested a couple of months back for failing to fulfill bail conditions after initially spending 81 days behind bars following her arrest at her home in Ibadan in March this year.

This was sequel to a petition written to the Nigerian Police Force by Pastor Ibiyeomie who claimed she defamed him by publishing an adultery story about him which he said was unfounded.
