On Tuesday, the Delta State House of Assembly directed the nine local council chairmen in Delta North Senatorial District to submit their performance reports covering the first 100 days in office.

The parliament also demanded the report on the personnel strength of the various councils, number of political aides, wage bill, jobs and contracts executed during the period.

The Chairman of the House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Chief Chukwudi Dafe, gave the directives during a meeting with the chairmen, heads of personnel management, and treasurers of the nine local councils in Asaba.

He also asked the councils to make available records of revenue since their assumption of office.
