Democrats call for dismissal of Trump's senior adviser

President Donald Trump has been told by a group of Democrats to sack his senior adviser Jared Kushner, 37, who they believe is a target of manipulation by some countries.

The group of 25 Democrats led by Representative Don Beyer penned a letter expressing their disillusionment with the president’s son-in-law who they deem as a potential target by foreigners to promote their interests.

“It is impossible for the American people or their elected representatives to have faith that Jared Kushner will put their interests above his own personal and financial interests,” the letter said.

“The only path forward is clear: Jared Kushner must resign immediately. If he will not, we believe it is your duty as White House chief of staff to fire him.”

However, many believe Trump would not budge at the request to sack Kusher who is married to his daughter Ivanka, and whom the president has repeatedly stated his support for in the past.
